3 Wishes at Ten June

New End Tables

I'm so excited- my husband picked up the new end tables I ordered last week for our living room!  They are the Claremont tables from Crate & Barrel.  The top part is glass and the bottom is mirrored.

I haven't had a chance to photograph them in our room yet, but here's where they go- the smaller/taller one closest to the chaise lounge part of the sofa.  I'm still deciding if I should have gotten two of the larger tables instead of one of each.

And since the above photo was taken, we have new lamps to put on the tables:

I like the way the new tables lighten up the room because the old tables were very heavy and dark.  We still have the leather ottoman as a coffee table for safety reasons for James.

My other favorite Crate & Barrel table is the Jules- I'm trying to figure out where I can use these!

Summer Shopping- Mossimo at Target

Shorts.  I thought I was over them, wouldn't wear them again.  Especially jean shorts.  But surprisingly, I'm liking them again!  I found a couple of great short jean shorts at Target over the weekend- for $18!  The brand is Mossimo, and the style is "6".  They bag a little in the back, but I bet they'll shrink some in the wash.

I also love the Mossimo tank tops from Target.  They have just a slight amount of stretch to them, but the fabric is nice, kinda thick.  I buy them in every color and always double up on the white ones for layering under other tops.

And I'm obsessed with these link necklaces!  The aqua and coral ones are from the JCrew outlet and the white and gold is from Bebe.

I love the casualness of summer dressing!  Are you in your flip flops as often as me these days?!

WANTED: Floor Length Mirror

In our entryway, we have a large, unadorned wall that is perfect for a dramatic floor-length mirror.  

I'm thinking something like these:

I love these gigantic, ornate mirrors, but not in white for our space.

This one is great, but too expensive from Restoration Hardware at $2000 (plus shipping I imagine).

The next 5 are from Horchow and actually way less than RH.

Do you know of any good sources for floor length mirrors?  

James by Bella Babies Portrait Studio

I've shown you our photographer's (Kristi Zontini of Bella Babies Portrait Studio in Houston) work before here, but hadn't shared the images from the two most recent photo shoots.  We bought 4 sittings for James' first year and did them at 2 weeks old, 5 months, 9 months, and one year.  Kristi and her assistant Jordan are the best!  They make the shoot fun and get such great results.  It's been really hard for me to narrow down the best photos from each shoot because they get so many wonderful shots.

I especially love these shots.  James was really squirmy and anxious to climb off this stoop, but Jordan managed to keep him up there long enough to get this picture.  He loved clapping his hands about this time, so I think the photo perfectly captures his personality.  (And it's so wild to see how much James has changed in just one year- his hair is even blonder now).

This picture of the 3 of us really represents my hubby and me- he's comfortable in cowboy boots and I love my Michael Kors heels!  But the adorable baby steals the show with his bare feet and skinny jeans!
